I am glad that Tinworth and all of the potential Inferi have returned to normal. I don't know what I'd do if the entire Wizarding World decided to eat brains instead of pumpkin juice. Suppose I'd be one of the crowd.
In brighter news, we ought to look ahead to Halloween. I'm sure Dora has already decided on how best to carve her pumpkin this year.

I took the underground to pick up a few things, and I noticed these oddly dressed people. Turns out, the Muggles are having some sort of zombie film festival tomorrow. Sort of ironic, isn't it?

My condolences to both of you and your families. I know that this must be a difficult time for your families. I can't even imagine. Please consider this an invitation to dinner anytime that you'd like, though I'd understand if you waited until after the services.
If you need anything, in regards to the services or help with the boys, please let us know. Andromeda and I would be happy to take the boys to the zoo for a day or something, just to get them off your hands. And, again, I'm sorry for your loss. We attended school together, but of course, that isn't the same as being family. If And

I can't say that I miss the webbed feet. Maybe this is what will happen after decades of inbreeding. Dora seems very adamant though that we acquire a pet duck. Don't know if this is better or worse than the frog obsession.

How many of you have told your families about the war? I know that we're bound by the Statute of Secrecy to not disclose everything. In fact, my wife assists the agency which decides how much to tell Muggles. But I can't help that think keeping in the dark is just hurting their chances of survival. I'll readily admit that I told my parents, and I've had their house properly warded. I don't expect them to be targets, but - Well, you never know.
I just wanted to know your thoughts, differing points of view. It's hard, sometimes, to have your entire family living on the fringes of the Wizarding World. Especially now.

Honestly, I don't believe that people are actually considering shipping purists off to a deserted island. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of equality and integration? Besides, I rather enjoyed the carnival, and I hardly think I'm qualified to be a purist. Even if
Maybe we should focus on the issue at hand. People are dying - and excuse me if this is crass, but I doubt that in death it matters much whether one was a pureblood or not. You can't reproduce, as far as I know. Not that you should reproduce with your cous
Actually, I wonder what a ghost baby would look like. Do you think their heads are larger than normal? Or maybe their fingers are elongated claws? That would be a curious phenomenon.

I think we should teach Dora how to conduct an orc raid. It might be important. When she breaches the mines of Moria. I know that she can defeat the Baldin. That's not its name.... She can defeat the balrog. There we go.
Speaking of balrogs, thoughts on these defense classes? It has been a few years since we were at school. I don't know how I'd feel about meeting a Death Eater in a blind alley.
And yes, I did have to look at the book in order to remember that balrogs were in Moria with the Orcs. My parents have not succeeded in their indoctrination. Let's stick to The Tales of Beedle the Bard for Dora before she runs about chattering in Elvish. Silvarin? I don't remember, again. It never seemed important to know whether they were speaking... Sindarin or Quenya.
Maybe we should restrict how often my parents watch Dora. Now she wants a sword.
Our thanks to everyone who attended the fundraiser. I look forward to working with you in the future.

Sir, I realize the DMLE is quite busy right now. I do not wish to take your time away from more pressing matters. In a word, I am hosting a fundraiser for the Orphaned Muggleborn Jane Doe. I wondered if the DMLE could spare a bit of security for the event. I have spoken with the Minister's Office, and they've informed me that I should direct my inquiries to you.
I'm sorry, sir, for the short notice. I would appreciate any assistance that the DMLE could give to help a poor child in these difficult times. Thank you.

I've spoken to Emmeline Vance about security. She said that she'd speak to Millicent Bagnold for me. I'm still waiting for a response, but it looks good thus far.
Andromeda and I have put together a few fliers and a donation list. We were thinking of putting up the fliers around Diagon Alley tonight, if anyone would like to help. We also need someone to publicize in Hogsmeade. I've also been in touch with the Prophet, and they should have an article in later this week.
In regards to set-up, if anyone is available, I think we could do the majority of the prep work Friday evening. It shouldn't take too long. I'm not expecting this to be a high class affair. If that works for you, Sirius? We could also lend a hand to food preparation. I'm sure the cooks wouldn't mind a few extra hands.
Finally, Fenella and I have discussed this, but I thought I should officially state it. While we want this fundraiser to be about Muggleborns, we don't want to publicize too widely that it's for a Muggleborn. We'd like to have a cover story that this is simply a fundraiser for an orphan girl. In lieu of publicity about Muggleborn rights, we'd like few people give speeches at the event on the subject. If anyone is interested in speaking, whether or not a Muggleborn, or you know someone who might be interested in speaking, please let me know. I'll be putting together a speech, but I don't wish to steal the spotlight from more worthy speakers.
Thank you again for all of your help.
Dora does love carnivals. It's a shame that there won't be another until next year.

I've got a few ideas about Muggle transportation and giant attacks in rural areas. It will be difficult though as transportation outside of highly populated areas is limited in options. What would you say if I suggested Wizards learn how to drive Muggle cars? Just for emergencies, of course.
Additionally, if I may ask, do you know the Ministry policy on security for fundraisers?

Hello again. This is just an update in regards to the fundraiser. Fortunately, my wife is far more organized than I am, and she has provided us with this handy list:
Jane Doe Fundraiser Dates: Andromeda suggested the 25th, and I agree. It gives us enough time to speak to the media and put up fliers without being too removed from the incident to have been forgotten. Does June 25 work for everyone?
Location: Sirius Black has offered his yard for this occasion.
Food: Molly Weasley, Neil McKinnon, and Maebh Finnigan have all volunteered their wonderful talents.
List of Suggested Donations: Andromeda has agreed to help me with this. We'll be sure to add Muggle items as well as Wizarding. Thanks to Arthur for the suggestion. Additionally, if you've anything to add, please let me know.
Publicity: How exactly do purists do this? Do they just put an advertisement in the Prophet and people show? I think this is the most important aspect of the event thus far, as without publicity we'll have no one at the fundraiser.

Hello! I know that this is a rather motley ward, but I suspect we will need this diversity in the endeavour I propose. As has been reported in the Daily Prophet, a Muggleborn baby was taken from her family and left at St. Mungo's. Her parents were brutally murdered, in order to prevent her from being raised by Muggles. I'm sure that I do not need to preach to the choir as to why this is an abomination and abhorrent representation of Wizarding society.
I've been speaking to Lily about what we can do to help Muggleborns survive Wizarding Society. It has been suggested that we host a fundraiser for little Jane Doe. Unfortunately, I'm horribly inadequate for planning events, and Lily is rather busy. Thus, I come to you, my friends, distant acquaintances, and extended family. What I propose is not a fundraiser on the scale of a purist bash. For one, none of us have the funds for such an endeavour, and it would be absurd to turn a solemn occasion into a mockery of purist traditions. Second, I'd rather like to avoid the attention of purists, if at all possible. They are already -- if I may say -- a rather frenzied group of people.
I propose, therefore, that we have a nice dinner and ask for donations from the general public. These do not have to be monetary donations. Most of us have children, and I'm certain that we all know the little things that children need which are not just gold. A few well-cared for toys will go a long way in giving young Jane a sense of love and acceptance in this world.
Fundraiser for Jane Doe Needs - Dates. I'm thinking that this should be sooner rather than later. Maybe the middle of June? - Food. People who would be willing to cook or donate food for the dinner would be brilliant. - A location. Would it be too much to ask if anyone has access to a fancy manor house? An open field would probably work just as well. We could put up tents. - A list of suggested donations. This could show people that, even if they lack money, they can still help. We might also be able to charge a few sickles as a suggested entry fee. Thoughts? - Publicity. This will be the most important aspect of a fundraiser. It would be fabulous if we could manage this without attracting the attention of Death Eaters. But I suspect they don't wear red Xs marking them as such.
I know that this rather a lot to take in. I'd be happy to answer questions, or if you have any other suggestions, or if you'd rather not be involved. Let me know. I understand that this could be dangerous. One never knows who, or what, or when the Death Eaters will strike next.
Additionally, if you know anyone who could help us, that would be brilliant! I wasn't exactly certain whom I could trust with such an idea. Though, to be fair, all credit goes to Lily Evans. She is a far cleverer and braver person than I am.

It is hard to believe that it is only Wednesday. Fortunately, I only work in Transportation. We've enough to do with Portkeys, and the Floo, and the flying carpets ban to keep ourselves busy for several months. Suppose it is for the best though. I wouldn't exactly want to be a part of the Minister's office. Identity cards? I'm sure that will work as well as the curfew.
Speaking of curfews, what's the appropriate bedtime for a five year old? She seems to have caught on from a few children around the neighbourhood that it ought to be about midnight. Of course, I solidly disagree as she can hardly manage to stay up past nine, but it is adorable to watch her try.
Warded to Lily Evans
Seems the Order of the Phoenix caught onto our idea of posters. I still think that Muggleborns ought to do more to stand up for themselves though. What right do purists have to be up in arms when they want to see us eradicated from the face of the earth? I don't want to see purists annihilated, of course. I only wish that they would learn to live harmoniously, rather than trying to off us all the time.
I know that is a bit much to hope for, but I'm optimistic that something good will come of this. Maybe we could start a fundraiser to help reach out to Muggleborn children? Purists are always doing that sort of thing. Obviously, they have better funding than we do, but I still think that if we can have charities for magical animals, then why not magical children?

I don't know how I feel about manifestos published in the Daily Prophet. It's certainly not something that one suspects to see. But I do hope there is more glitter. That was fu interesting.
Warded to Known Muggleborns
First and foremost, I'm a family man. I'd like to think that my wife and daughter are significant enough to not be involved in this nonsense. However, it would be difficult to deny that we are some of the Death Eaters biggest targets. We cannot allow these mo people to shove us out of Wizarding Society. I have as much of a right to be a wizard as any the rest of them, and I think my ability to br remain happily married to a pureblood is highly suggestive of the fact that we're all the same.
Muggleborn Week was an excellent idea, but I think we need to do something more proactive. To show that we are here, and we're not going to allow them to kidnap babies or murder our co-workers because they dislike what we have to say. What do you think? I'd suggest we plaster this Order of the Phoenix manifesto all over Diagon Alley, but maybe that's not the right approach. I'm still not sure if I agree with vigilantism. It is illegal, after all.
